How To...Self Evaluation

How To...Self Evaluation

What role(s) did you take in the group?
The roles I took on were doing the research of the competitors products and the information about what our product was and how it worked. I also did the net for the packing on illustrator and helped with the design, and power point.

How well do you think you performed in the role(s)?
I performed my role well as we all had things to do and a time limit to do it in, and I got my tasks done. I think as a group we all performed really well in each of our roles, we had good time management, so everything got done on time.

How well do you think you worked as a group?
As a group we worked really well, we all got on and there was no falling out. When choosing what designs to use for the product and the final ideas, we all agreed on what we should use and which design would work best for our product.

What were the positives of working in a group?
People work in different ways, therefore there will be lots of different ideas and suggestions for the task. Also as there are more people, as a group you are able to get more things done at once. There are people to bounce off, and can give you critical evaluation, and check things with your group to see if there is any corrections needed.

What were the negatives of working in a group?
The negatives of working in a group is that because everyone is different, everyone has different opinions and ways of working. Also if you are a quiet person it is hard to get you input into the project because there will be lots of big voices taking the lead. In a group it is also difficult to organize times for everyone to get together and meet up to discuss the project.

What will you do differently next time?
Next time I would get to know my group before we started trying to think of ideas, so that I could find out there strengths and weaknesses. Also I would do more brainstorming to get more ideas before just going with first good idea we come up with.

Where could you have improved your resolution?
We could have done a bit more research into our target market and the competitors products, to find the gap in the market. Also we could have done more research in the start of the project to find out what our peers thought, rather than just the ideas which we liked.

What are the strengths of your presentation?
Our strengths of the presentation was that we all got on as a group which came across in the presentation, so that it really flowed. We all contributed in the presentation, and we all spoke confidently to make the audience aweare that we had confidence in our product.
